Albert Einstein ; 14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist, widely acknowledged to be one of the greatest physicists of all time. Einstein is known for developing the theory of relativity, but he also made important contributions to the development of the theory of quantum mechanics. Relativity and quantum mechanics are together the two pillars of modern physics. His mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, which arises from relativity theory, has been dubbed “the world’s most famous equation”. His work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics “for his services to theoretical physics, and especially for his discovery of the law of the photoelectric effect”, a pivotal step in the development of quantum theory. His intellectual achievements and originality resulted in “Einstein” becoming synonymous with “genius”.
Below are some quotes by Albert Einstein;
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
The monotony and solitude of a quiet life stimulates the creative mind.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.
Whoever is careless with the truth in small matters cannot be trusted with important matters.
We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school.
Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in science.
Nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced.
Reading, after a certain age, diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking.
We still do not know one thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us.
Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous.
